Shredded Coconut is the dried pulp of the fruit of the tropical coconut palm.

Specifics: Coconut improves digestion, strengthens the immune system, reduces the risk of heart disease and cancer, and has antioxidant properties.

Shredded coconut is high in fat and calories, 65% of shredded coconut is fat while carbohydrates and protein account for 13 to 14% each.
Coconut meat contains vitamins B, C, and E.
