Full name of the product: Seasoning Blend for Spice-Cured Fish
Ingredients: Ground cloves, mustard seed, ginger, coriander seeds, ground coriander, cinnamon, nutmeg, paprika flakes, allspice, black pepper, cumin.
Uses: For salting, place fresh or frozen fish unto a glassware, sprinkle each layer with salt and spices. Put a weight on top and remove to a cool place. In 3 to 4 days, the fish will release juices. Drain the juice, wash the fish with cold water and soak for 1 hour. Drain the water and dry the fish. The fish is now ready to eat. It keeps well in the fridge. For marinating, take salted fish, remove skin and bones and cut into pieces. Make a marinade (see the recipe), pout it over the fish and place in the fridge for 1 or 2 days.
