Colored Shredded Coconut

Full name of the product: Colored Shredded Coconut

Shredded Coconut is the dried pulp of the fruit of the tropical coconut palm. Shredded coconut may be used for cooking confectionary products, pastries, desserts, as well as gravies and sauces for meat (ex. in Chinese and Thai cuisine).

Directions: Combine 100 ml of water with butter and sugar in a pot, bring it to a boil and cook till you get a homogeneous liquid. Chop a half of almonds with the help of a coffee grinder or food process. Take the mixtire out of the fire and let it cool down to 40C. Add 100 g of shredded coconut, almond powder, and milk powder. Mix well to make a dough and place it into the frindge for 4 hours. Roll every almond into a piece of dough and coat in shredded coconut. Placethe candies into the fridge to harden.

Ingredients: Shredded coconut, food colorings (Tartrazine, Quinoline Yellow, Crimson 4R).
